Minerals from the Collection of Jack Troy
(1930-2016)
Jack was a well known collector and key member of the North Jersey Mineralogical
Society in Paterson, New Jersey. Jack, along with his wife Greta, were part-time
mineral dealers. The minerals here were collected in the 1980s and early
1990s when high quality and low prices made collecting fine specimens accessible
to all. These minerals were part of the specimens that Jack kept for himself..
