First Visit to This Site?

Some Important Facts About this Site:

  1. Minerals are removed from the galleries when they sell. You will not see "SOLD" signs on any items (except if the Mineral of the Week sells. This specimen is on display for the whole week, regardless of availability.) If you can see a mineral in a gallery, it is most likely still available.

  2. New minerals are added to the site every Tuesday around 12:00 noon, New York time.

  3. Every photograph in the galleries is the exact specimen that is available. You will get what you see.

Quick Statistics:

There are three usual ways customers use this site:
1. Go straight to the mineral gallery or locality gallery of interest.
2. Tour sequentially through the galleries using the "Next" buttons.
3. Review the New Mineral Listings after the weekly update.

Depending on your interest, you may use a combination of these techniques. Here is more information on each:

Mineral Galleries and Locality Galleries

There are approximately 500 mineral specimens available on this web site. Each specimen can be found in a Mineral Gallery and a Locality Gallery. In the Mineral Galleries, the specimens for sale are grouped with other mineral specimens of the same type or association. In the Locality Galleries, the specimens for sale are grouped with other mineral specimens from the same region in the world.

Tour the Site

Below the images in each gallery are clickable buttons that will take you to the Next gallery or Back to the previous gallery. By sequentially clicking the Next button you will be cycled through the Locality Galleries and the Mineral Galleries and eventually end up where you started. This is a good way to explore the site on your first visit.

Weekly New Listing

New minerals for sale are added to the site every Tuesday at 12:00 noon., New York time. Frequent visitors go straight to the New Listings each week to see what is new and they skip the other galleries. Four weeks of new minerals are found in New Listings 1 - 23 - 4. Serious collectors can sign up for email notification when new minerals are added to the site.
